The Artfully Framed Mission

“Your Treasures, Beautifully Protected.” Our goal at Artfully Framed is to provide you with quality custom framing for your art, collectibles or personal treasures.

We are committed to protecting and preserving your items for generations to come. We also offer the best designs of anyone in the area.

Truly great custom framing starts with the materials that go into a frame package. Think of it as the foundation of a house. You don’t immediately see that foundation, but eventually if it isn’t sound, the house will start to deteriorate. The same is true with a custom framing package. Many framers will use less expensive boards, substrates and methods to keep the initial cost down, but those short sighted savings can mean irreparable damage in the long run. We work hard to bring you a product that will not only look good, but will remain stable and secure for generations.

To stay at the top of our design game, we compete in professional design competitions. Our designs and craftmanship have won many Regional and International awards, including the Professional Picture Framer’s Association (PPFA) International Grand Prize in 2006, Honorable Mention at the PPFA International level in 2009, and again in 2010.

Some of our artists are professional, some are up and coming and some are very skilled hobbyists that have a flair unique to them. If the art speaks to you, you can feel good about contributing to the livelihood of real artists, while getting a bargain for yourself. • First Place, PPFA International Print Competition, 2006

  • The framing design also took 1st place and a judges award for Innovation in Design at the Mid-America Regional Competition. The entire frame and built in easel is made from picture frame moulding and is one inclusive design, even though it looks as if a framed picture is sitting on an easel.

  • Honorable Mention -PPFA International Print Competition, 2009

The framing design of a vintage style necklace also placed first at the Mid-America Print Competition, qualifying it to advance to the International level.

  • PPFA International Award for Excellence in Design, 2010

The award was earned for the design of a Christmas Card entered in the PPFA Open International competition in 2010.   Previously, the piece had earned 1st place in the Mid-America open Competition, along with a Judges Award for Design and Popular Choice.   Those Regional awards qualified the framed piece to be entered at the International Competition.
